Leicester vs Manchester City

Manchester City v Leicester City: Preview, Team News and Prediction - Bitter and Blue

Manchester City could move top of the League when they visit 17th placed Leicester City at the King Power stadium in Saturday’s Premier League early kickoff game.

The Foxes moved out of the relegation zone with their convincing win against Wolves last weekend but know a bad result could have them back in the bottom three.

Brendan Rodger’s side have picked up seven points from the possible nine in their last three matches. Positively for the defence, they did not concede a goal in those matches against Leeds, Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

Manchester City will have their eyes set on moving above Arsenal with a win, they secured the point needed to win their Champions League group with Riyad Mahrez’s penalty miss the only blemish of that performance.

The Manchester City medical team will be sweating over Erling Haaland’s fitness for the fixture. His goal-scoring threat will be needed as Manchester City have only one win in their last four matches and have failed to score in their last three away matches.

Leicester’s resurgent form and Manchester City’s difficulty scoring away from home makes this a less straightforward fixture than it looks on paper.

Leicester’s defence has improved but is yet to face an attack as potent as City’s. Whether Haaland features or not, there is still enough of a threat from others to make this a difficult afternoon for the Leicester backline.

The last three meetings between these teams have ended as Manchester City victories, other than the 6-3 blockbuster at the Etihad last December, Manchester City won the other two by a 3-0 aggregate scoreline (0-1 and 0-2).

Our Picks

  • Manchester City to win @ 1.30
  • Under 3.5 goals @ 1.75
  • 1st half highest scoring half @ 2.95
  • Away clean sheet @ 2.22

Bournemouth vs Tottenham Hotspurs

Bournemouth vs Tottenham Preview: Where to Watch, Live Stream, Kick Off Time & Team News | 90min

Bournemouth are in the midst of a winless run as they welcome a Tottenham side that is gradually losing ground in the title race. Spurs are looking to return to winning ways after suffering a 2-1 defeat at home against Newcastle.

Bournemouth failed to find the net in three of their last five league outings with the Cherries having only five shot attempts in the 2-0 loss at West Ham on Monday night.

They also have struggled to find the back of the net at home this season, their haul of just four goals at the Vitality Stadium so far in the season makes them the second-lowest-scoring side in the premier league behind Wolves.

Unfortunately, they could have to do without Dominic Solanke and Neto, who both picked up injuries in the loss to West Ham. Other than those two changes, Bournemouth should field a lineup similar to the one that played West Ham.

Bryan Gil had an exciting cameo for Tottenham in their draw against Sporting Lisbon but is unlikely to start on Saturday. Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison remain unavailable for Spurs.

Tottenham have recorded just one win from their last six away games in all tournaments while Bournemouth have managed to avoid defeat in their last two meetings with Spurs at the Vitality Stadium, winning 1-0 in May 2019 before a goalless draw in July 2020.

Antonio Conte will be looking to avoid three straight losses as Tottenham coach, a position he has found himself in only once in his tenure. Despite not scoring in bunches at home, the Cherries have had a stingy defence, conceding only 5 times in 6 matches. Tottenham should be able to steal a narrow win at Bournemouth despite their recent attacking deficiencies.

Our Picks

  • Match ends in a draw @ 3.90
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.90
  • Both teams to score @ 1.83
  • Under 8.5 corners @ 2.55

Liverpool vs Leeds

Liverpool vs Leeds - Premier League: Team news, lineups & prediction

Liverpool suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Nottingham last time out after winning two games on the trot for only the second time this season. They play Leeds on the back of a competent 3-0 win against Ajax in the Champions League that will have taken off some of the bitter taste of the Nottingham loss.

That result saw the Reds slip to eighth place in the league, further denting any hope of mounting a title challenge.

Nevertheless, Leeds will have an uphill battle at Anfield. Liverpool are unbeaten at home this season, winning six of their last seven and keeping three straight clean sheets in their last three.

Leeds are winless in 5 matches, losing 4 successive league matches to drop into the relegation zone. The trip to Anfield comes at a difficult time for Manager Jesse Marsch, who had to listen to Leeds supporters chant support for former Manager Marcelo Bielsa in their loss to Fulham last time out.

While Liverpool have struggled away from home this season, Anfield has been a fortress for them and should have little trouble beating a Leeds team that looks set for a relegation battle this season

Our Picks

  • Liverpool to win @ 1.30
  • Over 3.5 bookings @ 2.50
  • Over 3.5 goals @ 1.90
  • Over 8.5 corners @ 1.34

Brighton vs Chelsea

Brighton vs Chelsea: Facts at your fingertips | News | Official Site | Chelsea Football Club

Less than two months after leaving Brighton, Graham Potter returns to the Amex as Chelsea Manager to face Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.

Potter’s replacement Roberto De Zerbi, is yet to get his first win as Brighton boss and takes on a Chelsea team Brighton have failed to beat in 10 attempts.

Potter is yet to taste defeat as Chelsea boss and secured the top spot in their Champions League group with a win against Red Bull Salzburg on Tuesday.

However, they have struggled to score goals with Raheem Sterling  being the club’s highest goal scorer with three goals despite not scoring yet under Graham Potter.

Chelsea and Brighton have met 10 times in the Premier League, with Chelsea winning 6 times and four of the matches ending in a draw. Four of these draws in the last five matches between them.

Most matches at the Amex have been low-scoring affairs, with Brighton scoring just 4 goals in their last five home matches, three of those goals came in the 3-3 draw with Liverpool.

Our Picks

  • Chelsea to win @ 2.45
  • Match to end in a draw @ 3.35
  • Over 3.5 bookings @ 2.52
  • Over 9.5 corners @ 1.70

Valencia vs Barcelona

Valencia vs Barcelona, La Liga: Final Score 1-4, Barça dominate, win at Mestalla - Barca Blaugranes

Barcelona saw all hopes of reaching the last-16 stage of the Champions League extinguished even before they kicked a ball, following Inter Milan’s 4-0 win against Viktoria Plzen.

Now demoted to the Europa League, they will have to put that Champions League disappointment behind them as they play Valencia in La Liga, where they have made a strong start to the season, second on the table with 28 points from 11 matches.

Valencia, on the other hand,  saw their five-game unbeaten run come to an end when they suffered a 2-1 loss to Real Mallorca

Gennaro Gattuso’s team are placed ninth on the log having won just one of their last five league matches, with that victory coming on October 7 against Osasuna, while drawing with Elche and Sevilla before their loss to Mallorca.

History isn’t on their side ahead of Barcelona’s visit, Valencia have lost all of their last three La Liga matches against Barcelona, with their last win over Barcelona coming in January 2020.

Barcelona will want to show a response following their Champions League exit and will look to put the pressure on league-leaders Real Madrid with a victory at the Mestalla.

Our Picks

  • Barcelona to win @ 1.60
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.60
  • Barcelona win 3-0 correct score @ 14.25
  • Under 8.5 corners @ 2.18

Napoli vs Sassuolo

Napoli vs Sassuolo Prediction and Betting Tips | 29th October 2022

Victor Osihmen’s late strike against Roma ensured Napoli remained on top of the Serie A table and extended Napoli’s unbeaten run to 11 matches in the league this season.

On Saturday, they will look to extend that streak to 12 matches when they host Sassuolo. Napoli have a 3-point lead over Milan and Luciano Spalletti could equal his best winning streak as Napoli coach with a win against Sassuolo, having won his first eight league matches last season.

Interestingly, Napoli’s  15-match unbeaten streak began in April with a 5-1 win over Sassuolo. Sassuolo occupies ninth position after winning four matches, losing four and drawing three. They head to Naples on the back of a 2-1 comeback win against Verona on Monday, but have history and form against them when they play the league leaders having won only two of their 18 Serie A meetings with Napoli.

Sassuolo will face a Napoli side that had the luxury of resting several key players in the Champions League win over Rangers. This has all the makings of a Napoli victory.

Our Picks

  • Napoli to win @ 1.30
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.47
  • Over 3.5 bookings @ 1.33

Bayern vs Mainz

Preview: Bayern Munich vs. Mainz 05 - prediction, team news, lineups - Sports Mole

Bayern’s impressive 3-0 win against Barcelona made it 5 successive wins in all competitions for the Bavarians. They could go top of the Bundesliga on Saturday when they host Mainz at the Allianz Arena.

A win will put Bayern above Union Berlin, who could regain the top spot when they play Borussia Monchengladbach on Sunday.

Mainz, meanwhile, go into the match buoyed by back-to-back wins with the latest a 5-0 thumping of FC Koln last time out.

Manuel Neuer has missed Bayern’s last five matches due to a shoulder injury and is unlikely to feature. Lucas Hernandez, Leroy Sane and Bouna Sarr remain unavailable due to injuries. Despite these absences, the Bayern XI should be strong with Thomas Muller, Kingsley Coman and Benjamin Pavard expected to be in the starting XI.

Bayern have won seven of their last eight matches in all competitions since the international break and should have enough firepower to defeat Mainz as they look to usurp Union Berlin.

Our Picks

  • Bayern to win @ 1.27
  • Over 2.5 goals @ 1.33
  • Both teams to score @ 1.65
