Europa League Bet Tips ⚽️
With the UCL games finally done, the 2nd tier of the competition brings us another round of European fixtures to bet on ahead of the weekend League games.
Read on below for our previews!
Glimt vs Arsenal
The priority for the Gunners will be to win the next two games, claim maximum points and head into the last group game able to ‘play the kids’. Despite playing just two games, Arsenal head into this game top of the table and are the clear favorites.
The home team will be desperate, however, as progression to the next round is at stake, especially as they’ve already played one more game than the two teams above them in Group A. Will that desperation get them the points they need or leave them open at the back for a grateful Arsenal to take advantage of?
Real Betis vs Roma
Last week, Real Betis dominated possession away at the Stadio Olimpico and won the game 2-1. That scoreline was quite flattering for the away side then as Roma had a higher xG (1.80 -0.63) and created three big chances compared to Real Betis’s zero big chances created.
Watch the home side to build on that display at home today. Jose Mourinho’s side will also have some added motivation – if they lose today, their Europa League campaign is as good as over already. The loss of Nicolo Zaniolo to a late sending off last week will not help their cause, but in Paolo Dybala and Tammy Abraham, they have two elite forwards to convert chances today.
A win today would confirm Real Betis’s qualification for the next round. As the home side this time, they will come out to dominate play, which might give the visiting Roma enough chances to hit them on the break.
Manchester United vs Omonia Nicosia
Erik ten Hag’s side is still learning his preferred methods, but he will have been pleased with both wins in the past week.
First, the Red Devils came back from a goal down to win last week and then again against Everton. Cristiano Ronaldo also scored the 700th league goal of his career.
While the Dutch manager could do without the early setbacks, the subsequent comebacks show the squad’s beliefs in his methods. Watch for them to take the initiative this time at Old Trafford.
A loss tonight will confirm the away team’s failure to qualify for the next round of the Europa League. Expect them to throw the whole kitchen sink at United in an effort to prevent that… and still lose.

Lazio vs Sturm Gra
Group F is finely balanced with all four teams level on points and only separated by their goal difference. Tonight, the bottom two teams meet again and this time, Lazio will hope that their superior talent will finally give them the burst needed to rise up the table. The away team will need to be wary of Ciro Immobile’s penalty box presence and Serge Milinkovic-Savic’s strong runs from midfield.
Of the four teams, Sturm Graz looks the weakest after scoring just one goal and conceding 6 already. If that record continues, they’re looking at a loss here.
Feyenoord vs Midtjylland
The top two teams in Group F will also face off tonight. With everything to gain and all also to lose, this could turn out to be one of those games that end up being boring because both teams are too scared to take a risk and attack.
There’s very little between both teams two with just one goal elevating Feyenoord to first place. Can someone win the game to finally separate from the rest of the pack or will this be one of those rare groups where each team is level on points at the end and only separated by goal difference?
Quick stat: Feyenoord has not lost any of their last five home games while Midtjylland has not lost any of their last six games. Who blinks first?
