Borussia Dortmund Vs Rangers | UEFA Europa League Betting Odds, Match Preview & Predictions
This was not supposed to happen to Dortmund. As Germany’s second-best team, their fans expected them to remain in Europe’s premier competition, competing against the best European teams for a chance to win the UEFA Champions League.
The Group C favorites started well and lost their way midway through their UCL campaign. Despite having a chance to finish second on the final match day, they lost away to Sporting Lisbon. This defeat brought them level on points with the Portuguese giants, but crucially, it gave Sporting the advantage in both head-to-head and goal difference.
In their first EUL game, they face Scottish giants Rangers in what is sure to be a firecracker of a game.

Borussia Dortmund Vs Rangers Team news
Apart from Mateu Morey and Marcel Schmelzer who are definitely out of the game, the German side are also doubtful about the fitness of Thomas Meunier, Erling Haaland and Marius Wolf. Haaland, especially will not be risked if he’s not fully match-fit, so expect Donyell Malen to start in his place upfront.
New Rangers signings Aaron Ramsey and Amad Diallo are likely to start if fit while Head Coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst will not be able to field Ianis Hagi and Nnamdi Ofoborh as they’re both injured.
Borussia Dortmund Vs Rangers prediction
The favorite here is the home team, but as we all know, football does not always work that way. Rangers’ chances of winning the game improve if they can win the midfield battle and they have two midfielders who can do just that in Joe Aribo and Aaron Ramsey.
