The Afcon 2021 semifinals are here, and fans can expect an action-packed encounter between the Teranga Lions and the Stallions of Burkina this Wednesday at Stade omnisport de Douala in Douala.

If Senegal manage to defeat Burkina Faso, they’ll be in for their second Afcon final in a row. Both teams will be desperate for a win as neither have had the honour of being Afcon winners so far, although Senegal came close in the 2019 edition, making it all the way to the final but losing 1-0 to Algeria.

Burkina Faso will sideline Dango Ouattara, who helped them win against Tunisia by scoring the only goal of the match but was later sent off due to a red card. Djibril Ouattara might also be missing in action due to a 72nd-minute injury incurred during the same match.

As for Senegal, no injury troubles have been reported and the team is expected to head into the game with the same winning line-up consisting of Mane, Diedhiou and Dia in attack.
