Things to Bet on in the Off-Season.

The 2020/2021 Football season has come to an end. League Champions have been crowned, Cup victors have celebrated their wins, players are signing new deals with clubs and some others are making changes to other clubs, and there is you, the football fan, ruing your club’s missed chances to win this season, or perhaps still giddy with celebration but missing the excitement that comes week-in, week-out from watching games and placing bets. The off-season, like the international break, can be a big bore.

However, this year, things could be a little different. There is the EURO 2020 Championships which did not hold last year due to the pandemic, the Copa America, the Olympics, several national leagues like the Australian League, Korean League, the Nigerian Professional Football League, The French Open, and a host of ATP and WTA events, and several other sports.

If you have not been placing bets on these sports before now, it is advisable to do a good bit of research before dabbling into them. This will help you avoid losses that you can prevent from doing research.

There are also virtual games such as the Virtual Leagues on BetKing – Kings League, King’s Liga, and King’s Italiano. Like everything else, virtual leagues need their own research before you place bets. Stakes can be placed for as low as N50 and you can earn up to 40% in accumulation bonus.

These are some of the leagues and sports you can bet on in the Off-Season.

Major League Soccer

The highest level of professional football in the United States and Canada, Major League Soccer is in its 7th week of the 2021 Regular Season. As football continues to grow in the United States, the league continues to produce some impressive talents some of which eventually find their way to the biggest clubs in Europe. While club football in Europe will be on break, the MLS is sure to provide sporting and betting entertainment and it is surely one to watch as some talents are bound to be moving from Europe to the MLS this year.

The French Open

The second grand slam of the tennis calendar year, The Roland Garros promises to be as entertaining as ever. The major tennis competition played on clay promises an upset to some of the big names such as Raphael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. BetKing offers player specials and more markets on the French Open and it is going to be an exciting time in the men’s competition and women’s competition for spectators and bettors alike.

EURO 2020

BetKing is offering special markets on the EURO 2020 in all 51 games of the competition. This is one competition we are all looking forward to for several reasons. Will France become World Cup and European Championship holders? Will the immense talent in the Portuguese team retain the title to become only the second team to do so? Holding from June 11 to July 12, the EURO promises so much excitement, and we cannot wait for you to be a part of it.

NBA PlayOffs

The NBA Playoffs kicked off on the 22nd of May. Notable teams like Golden State Warriors failed to make it, losing to the Memphis Grizzles in the play-in tournament. Celtics vs Net, Bucks vs Heat and the LA Lakers vs Phoenix Suns are some of the interesting matchups in Round 1 of the Playoffs.

Tokyo 2020 Olympics

It remains to be seen if the Olympics will hold this year. Postponed from last year because of the pandemic, all indications are that the event will go ahead in the summer this year. When it does, there will be a bevy of sports to bet on and BetKing will be bringing hundreds of markets and fantastic odds your way during the sporting festival.

The off-season might seem like the longest periods of our lives while we wait to get premium sporting entertainment week-in, week-out from the best clubs in Europe, but in between is a good time to explore other sporting entertainment and regroup for the 2021/2022 season.
